How Soulweave works
Soulweave starts with a conversation, not a questionnaire. Here is what happens from the first message to the first date.
1. Sign up in a minute
Enter your email, confirm that you are 18 or older, and type the six-digit code we send you. After that you can sign in with a passkey (fingerprint, face or device PIN). There are no passwords to remember.
2. Choose how to start
Buddy, your AI companion, asks how you would like to begin:
- Browse people yourself. Fill in the basics in about thirty seconds (name, age, who you are, whom you would like to meet, a photo) and open Discover.
- Let Buddy get to know you. Just talk. Buddy asks one question at a time, in your language, and builds your profile from the conversation.
3. Visible or incognito: you choose
When you are visible, you see other visible people in Discover, one card at a time, and they see you. When you are incognito, nobody sees you and you see nobody; Buddy keeps looking for you in the background and suggests people who fit. You can switch at any time in your profile settings.
4. Introductions only when both say yes
A like in Discover becomes an introduction only if the other person likes you too. A suggestion from Buddy becomes an introduction only if both of you accept it. Nobody can search for anyone by name.
5. Chat, with Buddy beside you if you want
Once introduced, you can write to each other. If you are stuck, ask Buddy for ideas: it suggests openers or replies, and you decide what to send. Messages that look like a common scam (asking for money, moving to another app right away) are flagged to you.
Languages
Soulweave works in English, Bulgarian, German and French. Chats between people who write in different languages are translated automatically.
What it costs
Talking with Buddy is free, with a daily message limit. Some features, such as accepting introductions without a limit, are part of an optional subscription; the first introduction is free.
